This home office was redesigned for a professional couple approaching retirement, who wanted a calm, comfortable space for reading, relaxation and family history research.
The existing room felt dark and inefficient due to poor layout, heavy colours and insufficient lighting.
The scheme focused on improving natural light and spatial flow. A light colour palette was introduced to enhance brightness, while tall shelving units were positioned along two walls to maximise storage without compromising circulation to the desk.
White wooden blinds help reflect daylight, and recessed LED lighting provides effective task illumination over the workspace and seating area.
The result is a bright, functional and inviting room that supports both focused work and relaxed use.
