Home Office Redesign

This home office was redesigned for a professional couple approaching retirement, who wanted a calm, comfortable space for reading, relaxation and to research family history.

The existing office space felt dark and inefficient due to poor layout, dark colours and inadequate lighting.

The design brief was to improve natural light and spatial flow. A light colour palette was introduced to enhance brightness, while tall shelving units were positioned along two walls to maximise storage without compromising circulation to the desk.

White wooden blinds help reflect daylight, and recessed LED downlights provide effective illumination over the workspace and seating area.

The result is a bright, functional room that supports focused work and invites relaxed reading.
