This guest bedroom was reconfigured to improve flexibility and maximise usable space.
An infrequently used double bed previously dominated the room, limiting its functionality and forcing the client to work and pursue hobbies elsewhere in the home.
A bespoke wall bed solution was introduced, incorporating integrated desk, shelving and storage. By taking advantage of a subtle recess in the wall line, the design was carefully planned to minimise visual impact while optimising layout efficiency.
Durable, toning finishes — including a satin frame and textured pale wood veneer — create a cohesive and contemporary aesthetic. Integrated lighting enhances the workspace, supporting remote working and sewing activities.
The room now functions seamlessly as a home office, creative space and yoga area, while remaining a fully equipped guest bedroom when required.
